Maroons Win Second Straight

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- Senior midfielder Alan Pikna (Wauwatosa, Wis./ West) scored the only goal of the match late in the first half as the University of Chicago men's soccer team defeated host Wabash College 1-0 Wednesday evening.

With just under 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Chicago (2-1) sent a shot toward Wabash goalkeeper Matt Paul, who punched the ball to the far side of the box. Pikna then stepped up and headed the ball inside the left post for his first goal of the season and first career game-winner.
