WHEATON, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's and women's swimming & diving teams opened their 2011-12 campaigns with dual meet victories Saturday at Wheaton (Ill.) College. The men won 166-82, while the women prevailed 145-105.

Notes
Chicago improved to 28-13 (men) and 30-13 (women) in dual meet competition in six years under Head Coach Jason Weber.
Saturday's meet was the only road dual of the season for the Maroons, who will return home for their next seven events (four duals, two invitationals, and one triangular).
